On June 13, 2011, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukraine in Japan Mykola Kulinich delivered a lecture before the audience of the UN University in Tokyo, which is an academic arm of the United Nations and undertakes research into the pressing global problems of human survival, development and welfare.

During the lecture  «Ukraine: 20 years on the path of Independence», the video presentation about Ukraine, in particular Ukraine's place in the world, especially the historical, cultural and political development of our country was organized. The Ambassador outlined the positive changes in Ukraine's economy and economic reforms of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych.

He paid more attention to the coverage of the achievements during the Independence of Ukraine.

At the end of his speech, the Ambassador answered the questions of the audience.
