On the occasion of completion diplomatic mission in Japan, on February 15, 2013, H.E. Mr. Mykola Kulinich, Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan, held meeting with H.E. Mr. Toyohisa Kozuki, Director-General of European Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
During the meeting the Parties exchanged views on the present state and prospects for further cooperation in all spheres of the Ukrainian-Japanese bilateral relations, particularly in political, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian fields.
In this conjunction, the both sides expressed their satisfaction with the recent achievements of bilateral cooperation, as well as the implementation of agreements, reached during the official visit of Ukraine’s President H.E. Viktor Yanukovych in January 2011.
To further enhance the political dialogue between the two governments, the sides expressed the interest of the governments of both countries in the realization during current year the visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan H.E. Mr. Fumio Kishida to Ukraine, as well as holding the Third meeting of the Ukrainian-Japanese Committee on cooperation at the foreign ministers’ level.
