In particular, there were journalists and correspondents of the world highest circulation newspaper - «The Yomiuri Shimbun», newspapers «The Asahi Shimbun», «The Mainichi Shimbun», «The Tokyo Shimbun», news agencies «Kyodo News» and «Jiji Press»; «NHK» and «TBS News» TV channels.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the media for their contribution in promoting the image of our country and coverage news in Ukraine during their work in the Moscow Bureau.

During the meeting the sides discussed all spheres and the current state of Ukrainian-Japanese relations, particularly cooperation in overcoming the consequences of accidents at Chornobyl and Fukushima nuclear power plants, the main principles of foreign and internal policy of Ukraine, the economic aspects of development and the implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine.
