On December 20 2012, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Japan, Ambassador of Ukraine in Japan Mykola Kulinich delivered a lecture before students and professors of the Toyo University in Tokyo, one of the most prestigious private establishments of higher education in Japan.
In his lecture “Ukraine-Japan: 20 years on the path of cooperation”, the Ambassador outlined Ukraine's place in the world, especially the historical, cultural and political development of our country, spoke about the positive changes in Ukraine's economy and economic reforms of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych, introduced the state and perspectives of Ukrainian-Japanese cooperation, particularly “Fukushima-Chornobyl” cooperation and mentioned parallels between the cultures of two states, depicted similarity of some traditions and habits our nations.
He paid more attention to the coverage of the achievements during the bilateral relation between Ukraine and Japan.
At the end of his speech, the Ambassador answered the questions of students and teachers.
