During the meeting Hanna Hopko expressed gratitude to the Japanese side for constant support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as reforms in our country.
Head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Parliament of Ukraine informed the Japanese side of the current situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and eastern regions of Ukraine, stressing on the constant violation of the Minsk agreements by the Russian side.
Eisuke Mori, in turn, assured of the further support of Ukraine by the Japanese side, expressing hope for an early settlement of the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and eastern regions of our country. Eisuke Mori also pointed out the serious interest of the Japanese business to the development of economic cooperation between our countries, particularly in the sphere of agriculture.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of all-round cooperation between Ukraine and Japan, in particular between the parliaments of our countries. The sides also underlined the importance of deepening cooperation at the regional level, particularly between the cities of Mykolaiv and Nagasaki, known for its shipbuilding projects.
