Foreign nationals of the countries with a high prevalence of COVID-19 and persons arriving to Ukraine from these countries are exempted from self-isolation regime on condition of a negative PCR test for COVID-19, conducted no more than 48 hours before crossing the border.
According to the Decision of the Government of Ukraine from July 22nd, 2020: https://www.kmu.gov.ua/npas/pro-vnesennya-zmin-do-postanovi-kabinetu-ministriv-ukrayini-vid-24-kvitnya-2020-r-331-i-vid-22-lipnya-t120820, requirements of self-isolation in connection with crossing the state border do not apply to such categories of foreigners - citizens of countries with a significant prevalence of COVID-19 and persons arriving in Ukraine from such countries (unless there is reason to believe that they were in contact with the person infected of COVID-19):
1) children under 12 years;
2) foreigners - citizens of states with a significant spread of COVID-19, who have not been on the territory of such states during the last 14 days or are in transit through the territory of Ukraine and have documents confirming departure abroad within two days;
3) employees of diplomatic missions and consular posts of foreign states, missions of official international missions, organizations and members of their families accredited in Ukraine;
4) drivers and crew members of freight vehicles, buses engaged in regular transportation, crew members of aircraft and ships, river vessels, members of train and locomotive crews;
5) instructors of the armed forces of NATO member states and member states of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" program, who take part in the training of units of the Armed Forces;
6) cultural figures for the invitation of a cultural institution together with one person accompanying each of them;
7) persons transporting hematopoietic stem cells for transplantation;
8) persons who have a negative result of testing for COVID-19 by polymerase chain reaction, conducted not more than 48 hours before crossing the border.
