On November 27th and 28th, concerts of Ukrainian classical music organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan were held in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Participants of the concerts: professors of the Lviv National Music Academy named after M. Lysenko Anna Ivanyushenko and Bozhena Korchynska; Ukrainian opera singer Oksana Stepanyuk; chairman of the Japan-Ukraine Art Association, Japanese violinist Chie Sawada. In addition to the main program, the Japanese choir "Shchedryk" performed "Shchedryk" by M. Leontovich and "Mnogaya Lita", while young artists Emma Kono and Mizuki Akiba performed the world-famous "Melody" by M. Skoryk.

The concert program with biographies of Ukrainian composers - D. Bortniansky, M. Berezovsky, M. Kolessa, M. Skoryk, M. Kapustin, V. Silvestrov - was prepared for the visitors of the event by the Embassy together with the Assistant Professor of the Lviv Music Academy Lilia Shevchuk-Nazar.

During both events, exhibitions of Petrykivka paintings by Galina Nazarenko were presented in the lobbies.
