The match took place at the Olympiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv on June 11.
The teams started the game rather actively, at a good pace. However, after exchanging long-range shots they slightly calmed down. The first truly dangerous moment came in the middle of the first half, when Andriy Shevchenko after the "wall" with his Dynamo Kyiv team mate Andriy Yarmolenko attacked the gate right at a sharp angle, but failed to shot the far corner.
A few minutes later Sweden's Markus Rosenberg responded from the penalty line, but Andriy Piatov kept an eye on the ball.
In the end of the half Ukrainians attacked the rival's gates more actively.
The second half also began with Ukrainians' attacks, but in the 52nd minute Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored Sweden's first and last for today goal in Ukraine's gates.
Ukraine responded on the 55th minute by Shevchenko's accurate head shot.
In the 61st minute Shevchenko made another head shot and scored Ukraine's second goal.
Thus, Ukraine has become the leader of its group, as France and England have played a draw 1-1.
