On March 24, the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan took part in the international cultural festival "Minato World Carnival" in Tokyo, which was organized by the administration of Minato ward of the Japanese capital.

At the festival the Embassy stand presented an exhibition of Ukrainian traditional goods and information about Ukraine, and, besides, coloring materials with explanations in Japanese about the main symbols of Ukraine and spelling of the Ukrainian language were provided at the corner for children. Ukrainian diplomats held mini-lectures on our country, its history, culture, traditions, life and tourist potential. During the festival, Mr. Oyaidzu, Vice-President of Minato ward, visited Ukrainian stand.

Ukrainian society in Ukraine "Krayany" presented during the festival Ukrainian traditional cuisine and various souvenirs. The concert program of the festival included modern dance "Podolyanochka" performed by the students of Ukrainian school in Tokyo "Dzhereltse".
