On the 16-th of August, in Kyiv the Ambassador of Ukraine in Japan Mykola Kulinich held the meeting with the heads of representative offices of the major Japanese corporations in Ukraine.

During the meeting the Ambassador Mykola Kulinich provided detailed explanation of the positive changes in the Ukrainian economy and the economic reforms of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. Particular attention was drawn to the need to attract Japanese investments for modernization of the Ukrainian industry and agro-industrial complex.

In turn, the representatives of the Japanese companies exchanged views on the experience of doing business in Ukraine, related problems and prospects for further business cooperation.

The Ambassador Mykola Kulinich assured the participants of the meeting that the Government of Ukraine is interested in the presence of the Japanese business in all spheres of the Ukrainian economy.
