The event was organized by Ukrainian community in Japan - «Kraiany» with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan and Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kyiv Patriarchate.

The participants of the event marched through the central streets of the capital of Japan. Former Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Toichi Sakata and Japanese friends of Ukraine also joined parade.

 At the end of the event the national anthem of Ukraine was performed by its participants.
