On 7-th of December, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan Mykola Kulinich met with the President of the House of Councillors of the Parliament of Japan H.E. Mr.Takeo Nishioka during of which the sides exchanged the views on current state and prospective of development of interparliamentary ties between two countries.

The sides pointed out the important role of bilateral interaction at the level of the leadership of parliaments and parliamentarian friendship groups, functioning in both countries, for fruitful development of whole spectrum of interstate cooperation.

Mr. Nishioka also expressed his readiness to give personal support to further activization of activities of Japanese parliamentarian friendship League “Japan-Ukraine” and strengthening of contacts between Japanese and Ukrainian members of Parliament.
