Foreign Office of Great Britain condemns an act of terror near Volnovakha, which caused 13 civilian casualties. David Lidington, Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office at his official Twitter account, stated this.
“Strongly condemn attack at Volnovakha checkpoint,” the tweet says.
David Lidindton pointed out that the tragic loss of life underlined need for genuine ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine.
On January 13, Russia-backed terrorists of the so called DPR shelled with MLRS Grad a Ukrainian checkpoint near the town of Volnovakha in Donetsk region, once again brutally violating the cease-fire agreements as well as breaking international law. The terrorists stuck a passenger bus driving nearby. 13 civilians have been killed and 16 wounded.
