The ceremony of inauguration of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took place in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on May 7, 2014.
More than 60 foreign official delegations, including 23 heads of state and government, parliament and heads of the international organizations as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Ukraine participated in the inaugural ceremony.
In his inauguration speech, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced plan of restoration of peace in the Eastern regions of our country.
This plan foresees exemption from criminal responsibility for those who do not have blood of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians on their hands, creation of the controlled corridor for Russian mercenaries and launching peaceful dialogue with all peaceful citizens of Ukraine.
Implementation of the constitutional reform, decentralization of power, carrying out economic reforms and fight with corruption will become important pillars of internal changes in Ukraine.
