“Ukraine Week” in Tokyo (November 21-30)

Dear friends,

The Embassy of Ukraine in Japan in cooperation with Minato administration, Ukrainian and Japanese singers and artists, Ukrainian community in Japan "Krayany" and Ukrainian school in Tokyo "Dzhereltse" will be holding “Ukraine Week” from November 21 till 30 in Tokyo at Akasaka Civic Center (Akasaka Community Plaza in Minato-ku, Akasaka 4-18-13).

All events are free of participation fee, so we hope that you will find time to experience culture, music and art of wonderful country Ukraine.

"UKRAINE WEEK"

① Ukrainian culture introduction presentation and screening of the short film "Djakuyu!" in Japanese)

November 21 (Wed) 19:00 - 20:15
Akasaka Civil Center Concert Hall (3rd floor)
Doors open: 18:30, 400 people (in order of arrival at the venue)

② Ukrainian traditional art experience

November 23 (Fri, holiday) 15:00 - 17:30
Akasaka Civil Center Information Corner (3rd floor)
(30 minutes each master class, 5 times in total) 
Registration starts 10 minutes before each class

③ Ukraine - Japan friendship concert

November 26 (Mon) 19:00 - 20:15
Akasaka Civil Center Concert Hall (3rd floor)
Doors open: 18:30, 400 people (in order of arrival at the venue)

④ Ukraine folk art exhibition

The 7th Ukraine Parade in Tokyo | 22 May, 09:49

On May 19th the 7th Ukraine Parade was held in Tokyo. More than 200 people participated, including Ukrainians, Japanese and citizens of other countries who expressed their solidarity with Ukraine.
